All Hamish & Co. shampoo and conditioner products are formulated using Viori's signature Longsheng Rice Water plus real, antioxidant rich single malt Scotch whisky, direct from the island of Islay. We formulate batches specifically to enhance the qualities that make our shampoos and conditioners the very best things you can do for your hair.
Why whisky?
It turns out the spirit is good for more than just your spirit. Because a good single malt is so rich in antioxidants, adding it to our Longsheng Rice Water shampoos and conditioners promotes healthy hair and provides glorious hydration and sheen. And though drinking it has long been known for its own benefits, applying it to the scalp is actually proven to make your hair stronger and less prone to damage. The antioxidants dramatically strengthen and repair hair that’s been damaged by free radicals and other environmental factors.
Other natural ingredients and what they do:
It’s more than just the antioxidant rich whisky in our shampoos and conditioners that’s hard at work making your hair look fantastic–every ingredient has been specifically selected for its notably beneficial qualities. There’s Longsheng Rice Water to renew, rejuvenate, and repair the hair, and Cocoa and Shea Butter to condition, soften, and moisturize. Then there’s Rice Bran Oil and Hydrolyzed Longsheng Rice Protein to increase volume and shine, while adding strength. There’s even Aloe Vera and Bamboo Oil that renew, rejuvenate, repair, condition, smooth, and increase shine. Scents
Citron & Ginger
Nothing pleases the senses like citrus, and the mandarin peel and lime zest top-notes of our Citron and Ginger scent were created to do exactly that. A little tropical, a little desert, and a whole lot of uniquely enticing. It’s a scent with a faintly exciting charm that’s as subtly energizing as the first sip of a good single malt. Undertones of cactus water, tuberose, and red tea add a mysterious muskiness and round out the bouquet with the delicate touch of a master distiller.
Aged Sandalwood
A formulation so evocative you can almost hear it gently serenading you with an orange zest-infused sandalwood aroma. It’s a siren’s song that’s sure to draw you in and never let you go. By adding undertones of rose petals and violet, we’ve created a scent as gently pleasing to the senses as an early evening’s walk on the Scottish moors. Warm, earthy, and enticingly evocative, it’s truly music to the nose.
Charred Patchouli
Viori created Viori's Charred Patchouli scent to capture the earthy, spicy, and even slightly sweet essence of the Scottish Isle from which Viori's whisky hails. Close your eyes and you can almost feel the beach moss and peat gently squishing between your toes. Hints of lemon and orange add an enticing sweetness while undertones of ginger, lavender, and cedar combine to create a truly irresistible scent as warm and pleasing as a blazing hearth on a cool, foggy day.
